THERMOMAGNETIC CIRCUIT BREAKERS
Thermomagnetic circuit breakers feature a thermal tripping mechanism as well as a magnetic tripping mechanism.
This means that the protective devices trip faster in the event of a short circuit compared to thermal fuses.
With their various characteristic curves, the device circuit breakers also satisfy the requirements for long cable paths. They therefore provide ideal protection against overload and short-circuit currents.

Thermomagnetic device circuit breakers
Thermomagnetic device circuit breakers are tripped both thermally and magnetically. The two systems, bimetal and solenoid, operate independently of one another.
This means that in the event of a short circuit, the thermomagnetic device circuit breakers trip more quickly than thermal device circuit breakers.
As a rule, in the event of a short circuit, the tripping mechanism is actuated within 3 to 5 ms.
Use device circuit breakers with optimized SFB (Selective Fuse Breaking) characteristic curve to implement longer cable paths in your system.
